NEW CD BROCHURE!

One of the common questions we receive is what is the difference between panelized, log, modular or post & beam. So to help with this question we have put together a CD BROCHURE which contains detailed information on all the different building options. The CD also contains EVERY floorplan, construction videos and much more information. Our CD will also allow us to cut down on the amount of brochures we have to include in a mailing and make our information just a little more "green".  If you would like one of our new CD's please send us an email with your current mailing address and we will get one right out to you.

Homebuilding Tips
Building for Winter
In a past issue we talked about passive solar design but many people do not think about designing their home for the winter months. Since  winter is the highest energy consumption period making some initial design choices can help you save money year after year.  If you plan to utilize a fireplace, be sure it's placement provides adequate heating throughout the house. If it's placed in a bad spot, you may waste a good amount of heat generated by the fireplace. Try to keep windows on the north side of the home to a minimum. While windows are much more energy efficient than in years past glass is still a place for heat loss in a home. Finally, keep in mind where your sidewalks will be placed, melting icicles can create icy sidewalks and a danger to you. We can help with your design and point out areas you might want to change.
ASK US!

For our next newsletter we would like to add a featured question. If you have a question about building, land, construction loans or anything related to the construction of new home, send us an email with your question!
